dok cross 1Empowered by the Holy Spirit, our vision as Daughters of the King is to know Jesus Christ, to make Him known to others, and to become reflections of God’s love throughout the world.

Daughters of the King (DOK) is an order of women and girls between the ages of seven and one hundred and seven who want a closer walk with the Lord. Members of DOK are Christian women who follow a Rule of Life with the companionship of their sisters. They are on all stages of the Christian journey with the same goal – to know Jesus Christ and to make Him known to others.

Order vs. Organization

A Christian order is a community of men or women living under a religious rule. Since the Daughters of the King order themselves with a Rule of Life,” they are considered an order rather than just an organization. The community is world wide, but it’s life community is found mainly in local chapters.

After a three-month period of study and discernment, each new member takes vows to uphold the two Rules of the Order, the Rule of Prayer and the Rule of Service.

Women of All Ages

Membership is open to women at every stage of life. Many senior chapters help spread the Kingdom to the next generation by including a Junior Daughters of the King chapter.

Junior Daughters of the King

Junior Daughters are young women and girls from 7 to 21 years of age, who make a promise to pray daily and serve our Lord Jesus Christ. Membership is open to all baptized girls, regardless of denomination. They meet under a senior Daughter who is their Directress.
